Whoops….I missed posting last week. It was bound to happen. Really, I’m impressed that I made it 18 weeks in a row!
This week was teacher appreciation. I try to use it to show the kids’ teachers how much we really do appreciate all they do. They’ve all had wonderful teachers this year! [...]
We spent last Sunday on the Z farm for one last visit before Grandma and Grandpa Z. moved. Joseph wanted some pictures, and wouldn’t you know that after taking a few pics of Grandpa pushing Quincy in the tire swing, my camera battery died. So, the ‘ol iPhone had to suffice. We were also able [...]
Another rather uneventful week, with just typical, everyday stuff going on.
The weather got progressively warmer as the week went on, which was SO nice! We were able to get a bit of yard work done…the first lawn mowing of the year and some fertilizer. Next will be weed killer to hopefully take care of [...]
We didn’t see much of Joseph this week due to long hours at work. There were a couple of days when the kids didn’t see him at all. We don’t like weeks like that around here. My patience starts to wear thin and the kids don’t like not seeing daddy at all. On one of [...]
This has been a fairly dull week at our house. I went to the dentist on Monday…a trip that has become a regular occurance lately. I needed some extra adjustments made to my night guard and the dentist was nearly ready to start from scratch and have the lab make a new one. I think [...]
The kids were out of school this last week for Spring Break. Monday didn’t start off too well, so I was kind of dreading the rest of the week because we didn’t really have much planned. Thankfully, the kids turned their behavior around. The weather was a semi-decent, so they spent a fair amount of [...]
We’ve had a busy week. The twins had their annual IEP meetings on Monday afternoon. They were both quick and easy. Neither are up for re-evaluation until next year, so their speech services will pretty much continue as they have been, with a little more focus being put on generalizing the skills they are learning [...]
Our friend Brittney, who takes our Christmas card pictures every year, did some cute spring pictures of the kids yesterday. Quincy was a little dazed and confused about what was going on, which is too bad because she’s usually quite the ham for the camera, but I love the one with her tongue sticking out. [...]
Slow picture week around here…
After 3 looooong weeks, our couch was finally delivered! We love it! It’s so nice to have a place for all of us to sit to watch a movie or play a game together. I was really nervous about the delivery guys getting here and not being able to fit [...]
Quincy turned 7 months last Sunday, so I took a few pictures of her this week. My doula gave me a “first year” frame as a gift, so I’ve tried to stay on top of getting a good photo each month to put in it. I loved this one…the expression is so Quincy!
